Coachtravel4u terms and conditions:
Coaches we use:
Coachtrave4u uses local third party coach companies based in Dorset. Coachtrave4u do not operate our own coaches and do not have our own drivers. The local coach companies we use are fully insured and are responsible for the safety on both the outward and inward journeys. All drivers are DBS checked. ALL vehicles are safety checked 5-6 times a week and all have the relevant safety certificates, emergency procedures and safeguarding.
Liability:
-Coachtravel4u and third party coach companies are not responsible for situations beyond our control, i.e. flight cancellations, strikes, tunnel closure, road works, diversions, accidents, inclement, weather etc.
- Cleaning/repair. Please note third party coach companies charge a minimum cleaning/repair fee of £150.00 plus vat for any soiling or damage done to the vehicle internally or externally.
- We do not accept responsibility for any personal items i.e. luggage, handbags or documents left in vehicles or left at the location we collected from.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure enough travel time before departure.
- All passengers are to meet their driver at the location designated on their confirmation. Coachtravel4u and third party coach companies are not responsible if you miss your departure time and are not responsible to source or pay for any onward travel arrangements or accommodation if you miss your departure time. If passengers are running late, we will endeavor to contact the passenger. All passengers must arrive at the departure time 10-15 minutes before the departure time
Coachtravel4u is not a tour operator or a coach operator. We do not provide tours, only transport via third party coach companies. Third party coach companies are responsible for your travel only via coach. Coachtravel4u are not responsible anything that happens prior, during or after your day out. This includes any accidents, deaths, negligence, loss of personal belongings or any extra costs.
Coachtravel4 is solely responsible for the payments and bookings through which we have public liability insurance. Third party coach companies are solely responsible for your travel.
Coach break downs from third party coach companies:
In the unlikely event of a coach suffering a mechanical failure, our main priority is passenger safety, and we will endeavor to provide a replacement vehicle as soon as possible to enable the journey to continue. We would like to reassure you that our coaches are subject to 5-6 weekly inspections in addition to the daily pre-drive checks, so breakdowns are extremely rare. We do not have a policy to offer refunds in the event of breakdown due to the steps taken to mitigate this outcome. Any reimbursement would be at the discretion of the Managing Director
Liability in relation to carriage by third party providers:
Coachtrvael4u accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever and howsoever caused for the actions or omissions of a Third Party Provider or any of their employees, agents or contractors (including if that Third Party Provider fails or delays in carrying you on their services) You should make your claim for any loss or damage you suffer or incur direct against that Third Party Provider as your contract is with them for your carriage on their service.
Tickets:
Your ticket will be sent via email. This allows travel on only the route you have paid for, which is stated on the ticket. The tickets and trips are for same day travel/day trips ONLY.
Customer cancellations: Customers have until 7 days before their trip to cancel to get a full refund. Less than 7 days before the scheduled trip then this is non refundable.
Seating: Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Seats cannot be reserved.
If the journey is cancelled prior to your journey, before it commences, then you will receive a full refund. If your journey is cancelled after it has commenced, before reaching your destination, then the third party coach companies will make alternative arrangements to carry you to your destination. Coachtravel4u is not responsible for this, this is the responsibility of the third party.
Cancellation of trip:
On the odd rare occasion we may regrettably have to cancel a trip due to low numbers or unforeseen circumstances. If so, this will be cancelled in good time with plenty of notice. In this instance you will be given a full refund or can book onto another one of our day trips.
Behaviour:
- All customers are expected to behave in a respectful manner. We will not tolerate any anti social behaviour or abuse towards other travelers or the driver. In the event that you asked to leave or are removed from a coach, you will not get a refund and we are not responsible for sourcing or paying for any further travel.
Alcohol, smoking (including vapes) are not permitted onboard. It is illegal to consume alcohol on a private hire vehicle. Third party coach companies operate a no alcohol policy and reserve the right to evict anyone from our vehicles who consumes alcohol whilst on board or pose a threat to their drivers. They operate a no smoking policy aboard their vehicles
Luggage. Excess luggage or large items i.e. golf clubs, sports equipment, skis and pushchairs etc, needs to be discussed at the point of ordering to ensure a suitable vehicle is booked.
